Jinta Mountain was built in 1913 and currently houses a collection of handicrafts and sculptures from the 4th to 10th centuries, the Angkor Dynasty, and other periods. The museum also features several photographs of Angkor taken by French photographers, as well as many authentic Angkor sculptures. Doing homework before heading to Angkor Wat would be very helpful.

The museum is an open design that is very beautiful and full of exotic flavors. There is a small pavilion in the center that enshrines a deity statue, surrounded by four artificial lotus ponds with alternating grass beds and benches, like soundproof walls, blocking the noise of the bustling city outside the museum and allowing visitors to enjoy quietly.

Silver Palace: To the left of the tourist entrance. The royal family temple was built in 1892 and rebuilt in 1962. Named after the 5000 pieces of pure silver bricks, each weighing over 1 kilogram, laid on the floor of the hall. Many of the precious cultural relics originally collected in the temple have been looted and destroyed, but the existing ones are still priceless, including a jade Buddha carved from a half meter high piece of jade, a 90 kilogram golden Buddha (with 9584 diamonds embedded, the heaviest one weighing 25 carats), a gold wall painting over 40 centimeters high, and gifts from foreign heads of state. The walls of the corridor are painted with murals depicting the achievements of various dynasties and religious stories, which are also important cultural relics.

Napoleon III Pavilion: Originally belonging to King Napoleon III of France, it was presented as a gift by France to the King of Cambodia in 1869. Currently used for displaying royal portraits, seals, badges, etc.

Coronation Hall: The architectural style is similar to the Grand Palace in Bangkok, and visitors are not allowed to enter. However, standing on the terrace, one can overlook the inner palace that is not open to visitors.

Introduction

Also known as the Four Arm Bay King's Palace, it was built between 1866-1870. The palace is rectangular, 435 meters long and 402 meters wide, with a city wall outside and more than 20 buildings inside. The architecture is rich in Khmer traditional style and religious colors, mostly in yellow and white, with yellow representing Buddhism and white representing Brahmanism, so it looks golden. The inner palace where the royal family resides is not open to the public.

On the spacious and clean square lawn in front of the palace, local residents, monks, and tourists from all over the world come here to cool off at dusk, and the scene is very lively.
