Recreational Vehicles in the Canadian Rockies
The Canadian Rockies are truly spectacular and if you travel in a recreational vehicle you must go see them in the summertime. If you leave out of Calgary, Canada and head west on Highway 1 you will pass by the Olympic ski jumps and I advise you to take a tour there. Next, you should drive to Banff Canada and stay for a couple days as there is so much to see and it is beautiful.
After that you should drive to Lake Louise, Canada and check out the famous Lake Louise Hotel. You'll want to take a walk up to the teahouse and you will have to hike to get their. If you go around early September you will see that the water in the lake is a beautiful aqua color from all the silt coming down from the glaciers.
Next you want to travel north to Jasper National Park. Along the way I advice you to go on the tour of the glacier and you can take a tracked vehicle and drive up upon it. In this city of Jasper you can enjoy the restaurants downtown and coffee shops and watch giant Elk look in the window.
There are also great hikes and trails that you will not want to miss them, as the water cuts through solid rock right before your eyes. If you travel in a recreational vehicle you must see the Canadian Rockies. Please consider this in 2006.
